ABOUT US

Welcome to the Prairie Hawk Softball Club. We are a competitive softball club for the College Community School District.

This program was started to provide a positive experience for young athletes that promote respect, positivity, and fundamentals that may not always be upheld as priorities in all programs. Points of emphasis in our program will be the following: 

​

• Our #1 goal as coaches is to build your child’s confidence. As a coaching staff, we commit to instilling positive  reinforcement on and off the field.

• We encourage players to continue to play in as many other sports as they can. Competition is a wonderful thing for  young athletes and we hope our program philosophies can help them in their other sports as well. 

​

• We will be a process-oriented program, NOT a results oriented program. Our process to perform will be thorough and we will instill toughness in our players so the results take care of themselves. 

​

• We will strive to teach kids how to be good teammates, understand what it means to earn a position or playing time, and be prepared to fill a role in every game, whether they start that particular game or not. We want kids to be  invested in their team, not just themselves. This may mean players will sit once in a while, but they will never sit  two games in a row in one day.

• Sports are one of the best avenues in our society to teach and learn life’s tough lessons and it’s our sincere goal that we can help your daughter in this process.
